What is Global Enterprise ?

Who are we?

Global Enterprise is an economical think tank. Global-Enterprise.biz ’ audience is formed of entrepreneurs, SMEs, creative people, big companies representatives, public policy makers. Our goal is to educate, inform and understand
In order to reach that objective, Global Enterprise produces web content in the form of testimony, interviews, conversations and articles.
The purpose of the think tank is to generate ideas and expertise regarding the changes taking place in the economy, in partnership with third parties. These contributions may take the form of series of interviews, study, work, event or other actions.

The theme:

The economic environment has changed considerably over the past fifteen years.

1. Technologies are more complex and sophisticated
In order to develop a new car, car manufacturers need as many computing power and engineers as Airbus in the 1980’s to develop a brand new aircraft. Technologies are, today, too complex. Most large companies are unable to self-support the full innovation and development process of a product. Pharmaceutical, automotive, chemical, computer, financial and other major groups already entered the network innovation pattern. Partnerships between large companies, small and medium businesses, start-ups, school, universities or free lance experts is the only model that will guarantee the future of breaktrough innovations.

2. Globalization is deeply changing the competitive landscape. Competition may come from anywhere, any country, any continent, or any other sector…
However, the traditional way of organizing companies, based on hierarchy, task division and control, isn’t adapted for the modern demands for more reactiveness, booming innovation and permanent change. Instead, the new unpredictable economical environment requires from companies to embrace openness, collaboration and community based organizations…
Due to the internet, barriers to entry collapsed in a range of sectors. Opportunities are huge for large, small or even individual businesses everywhere, as far as they expand their connections and communities. The new “hyper”-competition is a push for accelerating the innovation process and stimulate the creativity of companies.
In that new surrounding, entrepreneurship (within as outside companies) will be a key driver of succesful economies.

3. The new Internet tools, collaborative Web (also known as 2.0), social networks, democratize access to experts, customers, peers. They open a large field of new opportunities.
The landmarks of classical management are jostled. Globecorp.biz is talking and brining up expertise as wall as cutting-edge thoughts about this profound changes in the economical life. For the best, do we hope.
